Description
High precision and quality mechanical seals made of combined Stainless Steel 316 and Graphite material, easy to install and maintain.
The mechanical seal is achieved through the perfect planar contact between the Stainless Steel ring and the Graphite part. The Stainless Steel ring is fixed with grub screws on the propeller shaft (therefore rotating with the shaft), while the Graphite part remains stationary on the seal. Mechanical seals can be installed directly on the stern tube with the Rubber sleeve secured by clamps. The standard size connecting the rubber sleeve to the stern tube is 87 mm, but through reducers the mechanical seals can also be installed on stern tubes with dimensions of 70 mm or inch sizes of 2"1/2 and 3".
It can be equipped with a Bronze seal holder complete with hydro-lube bushing to be fixed to the bulkhead (see code 4900635<>4900680).
