Which lights does a boat up to 12 metres need?
Red and green sidelights with 1 mile range, a white 2-mile stern light and, under power, a 2-mile masthead light; at anchor, a white 360° light. The page gives the range and the length class each light is approved for.
Can I replace a bulb light with an LED one?
Yes, provided the LED light is approved for the same function and length class. LED versions are marked on the page and draw far less current.
