FAQ

Common questions

How does the quick-release system work?
Jake™ has a quick-release interface on both ends of the pole: swap heads in seconds, with two fingers, even wearing gloves.
Are all heads compatible?
Yes: Boat Hook, QuickGrip Linemaster, Line-Passing and Brush share the same interface. Future heads will too.
How long is the pole?
The telescopic pole extends from 107 to 193 cm, with 3 intermediate positions.
How do the Fidlock® mounts work?
They secure Jake™ to lifelines (Ø 6–13 mm) and tubular structures (Ø 20–30 mm) with a fast, safe magnetic closure and one-handed release.
Does it really float?
Yes: the internal floating structure prevents accidental loss overboard.
Does it replace a traditional boat hook?
Completely, and it adds much more: grabbing, tensioning and passing lines, plus deck and hull cleaning.
