Mooring buoys, fenders
Cylindrical, round and pneumatic fenders, mooring buoys, regatta and diving buoys, EVA dock and pile protection, fender covers and accessories such as lines, hooks and holders. Sizes run from tender fenders to fenders for boats over 15 metres: every page gives length, diameter and, where the maker states it, the recommended boat length. MAXFENDER, BIGFENDER and SISTEMA ZERO dock protection fits concrete quays and floating pontoons without marking the hull.
Frequently asked questions
How many fenders does a boat need?
The makers' rule of thumb is one fender every 3 metres of length per side, with at least three per side on boats up to 10 metres. Diameter grows with boat length: the recommended value is on the series pages.
What is the difference between a pneumatic fender and a standard inflatable fender?
A pneumatic fender in inflatable-boat fabric deflates completely and folds away, so it takes no space on board: it is made for sailing and racing yachts. A standard PVC fender stays inflated and ready to use.
