Yacht Devices · NMEA 2000 electronics
Your whole boat,
on one screen.
Tanks, engine, batteries, wind, position, alarms. One open standard puts sensors on your boat and shows every reading on your phone, tablet or chartplotter. Without replacing the instruments you already own.
The real problem
You can only handle a boat as well as you can see it.
And on board you see very little. The readings that matter sit behind an analogue dial, on an ageing instrument, or do not exist at all. So trouble always arrives as a surprise. At sea, surprises are expensive.
The tank
You find out the diesel is gone when the engine stops, not a minute earlier.
The batteries
At anchor you end up in the dark, never having known how much range was left.
The engine
The impeller fails and the first sign is smoke, when the damage is already done.
The instruments
You paid for electronics but the data stays in the cockpit. Below deck you are blind.
How it works
One standard. Add what you need. See everything.
Connect
Every device plugs into the NMEA 2000 backbone you already have. Older 0183 or SeaTalk instruments? There is an adapter that makes them talk to the new network.
Add sensors
Choose what to keep an eye on: tanks, batteries, engine, temperatures, alarms. Add only the parts you need, when you need them.
See everything
A gateway brings every reading to phone, tablet and PC, as well as the chartplotter. Open the app and the boat is all there, from below deck or from the dock.

CLUSTER 01 · VISIBILITY
See the whole boat on your phone, tablet or PC

Reason why
Your instruments are scattered and you can only read them from the cockpit. A gateway turns the boat into a single dashboard you open from your phone in the bunk, on the dock or below deck. Without buying a new chartplotter.
You connect a gateway to the NMEA 2000 backbone and from there position, wind, depth, engine, tanks, batteries and AIS land on any screen already in your pocket. The Wi-Fi Gateway shows the readings as gauges in the browser, with no app to install.

- One device for network and mixed instruments
- Everything managed from a browser
CLUSTER 02 · INTEGRATION
Make the old talk to the new
Reason why
You have instruments from different eras and different brands that do not talk to each other. These adapters make NMEA 0183, SeaTalk and NMEA 2000 work together, so you keep the old instrument that still works instead of rewiring the boat. The strongest argument on a second hand boat or a refit.

0183 Gateway
Two way translator between 0183 and 2000: makes an older instrument talk to the new network.
- Configurable baud rates
- Saves instruments that still work

0183 Multiplexer
Merges up to 5 NMEA 0183 ports plus SeaTalk onto one line, with auto detect and filters.
- More instruments, a single cable
- Filters out the data you do not need

0183 Wi-Fi Gateway
Brings 0183 instruments to phone and tablet over Wi-Fi, with a web interface and track logging.
- Two 0183 ports plus Wi-Fi
- Records the track with weather data

0183 Wi-Fi Router
For the 0183 only boat: apps and multiplexer in one, 4 ports plus SeaTalk and live gauges.
- Multiplexer and Wi-Fi together
- Real time gauges

Bridge
Joins two NMEA 2000 networks while filtering messages. Useful to isolate engine traffic.
- Cleans up busy networks
- Splits or joins two backbones

Rudder Adapter
Recovers a rudder angle sensor and shows it on a modern network, autopilots and chartplotters.
- Rudder angle on the chartplotter
- Keeps the existing sensor

Python Gateway
Connects 0183 devices with Python 3 for custom automation and processing.
- Custom logic and automation
- For those who want to go further

Engine Gateway
Brings engine data from Volvo Penta, Mercury SmartCraft, BRP Rotax and J1939 into NMEA 2000, 25 or more parameters.
- RPM, temperatures, hours and alarms on the chartplotter
- Covers the most common makes

J1708 Gateway
Digitises older diesels with a J1708 serial interface, from Detroit Diesel, Caterpillar, Cummins and MTU.
- Puts even dated diesels on the network
- Recovers data otherwise lost

Outboard Gateway
Gives RPM, alternator voltage and hours to petrol outboards and inboards with no digital interface.
- Basic data even from a mute engine
- The affordable route

Exhaust Gas Sensor
Measures up to 800 degrees C on the exhaust: an overheating alarm before the failure.
- Warns you if the impeller gives up
- Also for air and heating
CLUSTER 04 · POWER
Power and switchboard, without ending up in the dark

Reason why
At anchor the nightmare is running out of battery, or not knowing what is drawing power. This block tells you how much range you really have, what is switched on, and lets you control loads from the display or the phone with less wiring and fewer switches.

Battery Monitor
Voltage, current, state of charge and health: you know how much range is really left.
- Voltage to 0.1 V, current to 0.5 per cent
- Can start the genset or trigger an alarm

Run Indicator
Shows current and voltage on 4 DC circuits, so you understand what is drawing power.
- See which load is on
- Four circuits at once

Circuit Control
Four latching relays driven from a switch, the network or the chartplotter. Digital switching on board.
- Switch loads from your phone
- Less wiring, more order

Switch Control
A physical console for 4 NMEA 2000 switch channels, with buttons and status LEDs.
- A panel you can feel
- LEDs that show what is active

Smart Relay
Drives two separate loads from a single switch with a double click.
- Two loads, one switch
- Uses the controls already fitted
CLUSTER 05 · LIQUIDS
Tanks and liquids always under control

Reason why
The original gauges are imprecise or missing. These adapters digitise diesel, water and black water with 12 point calibration, which works even on oddly shaped tanks, and can trigger alarms or start pumps. How much fuel do I really have is no longer a question without an answer.

Tank Adapter, 1 tank
Digitises one tank, diesel, petrol, oil, fresh or black water, with 12 point calibration.
- Real level even on odd shaped tanks
- Can drive alarms or pumps

Tank Adapter, 4 tanks
Monitors up to 4 tanks at once: fuel, water and black water all under control.
- 15 calibration presets
- One device for every liquid
CLUSTER 06 · WEATHER AND CLIMATE
Read the weather, and the climate on board, early

Reason why
At sea you read the weather in the pressure before you read it in the sky. The barometer shows the trend on the chartplotter so you can anticipate a front, humidity flags condensation and comfort, the thermometer keeps an eye on fridge, locker and engine room.

Digital Barometer
Pressure with the weather trend on the chartplotter, so you see bad weather coming before it arrives.
- A trend that flags an incoming front
- Always visible on the network

Humidity Sensor
Humidity, air temperature and dew point in cabins, lockers and engine room, before condensation turns into mould.
- Dew point for condensation
- Comfort below deck

Thermometer
Temperature from minus 55 to plus 125 degrees C for air, sea, fridge and engine bay.
- Fridge, locker, engine room
- Wide measuring range
CLUSTER 07 · SAFETY
Do not get caught out: safety and crew rest

Reason why
An alarm has to be heard over wind and noise. The Alarm Button gives 28 loud signals, the man overboard function sends an AIS MOB with the GPS position, and it doubles as an anchor watch if the boat drags. The autopilot steers so the crew can rest.

Alarm Button
Button with LED and a 10 W speaker, 28 signals: engine alarms, anchor watch and man overboard.
- MOB over AIS with GPS position
- Anchor watch if the boat drags

Autopilot
Course computer with AUTO, WIND and TRACK modes, for boats up to around 40 feet.
- Holds the course for you
- The crew rests on long passages
CLUSTER 08 · RECORDING
Record and analyse every passage
Reason why
The black box of the boat. It records all the data and the audio to a card, which is what you need to track down an intermittent fault, to document an incident for the insurer, or to analyse performance after a race. The CAN Log Viewer analysis software is a free download.

Voyage Recorder
Records all NMEA 2000 traffic and audio to a card, for backup and analysis. CAN Log Viewer, the analysis software, is a free download.
