Loop + Olli™ ring: how it works

Wrap

Pass the loop around your attachment point: toe rail, pad eye, mast base or any solid support, and back through itself (lark's head).

Add the ring

Slip the Olli™ ring into the free eye of the loop. Follow the size pairing below: each loop is engineered around its ring.

Run your line

Lead your line through the ring: a smooth turning point for barber haulers, preventers, halyards and control lines. Watch the tutorial above for the full setup.

One loop, a thousand jobs

  • Barber hauler / in-hauler

    A movable sheet lead to open or close the headsail slot and control twist.

  • Boom preventer

    A soft anchor point on the toe rail to hold the boom: no shock, no metal.

  • Furling line lead

    Light fairleads along the toe rail instead of blocks: the line runs clean to the cockpit.

  • Outhaul & Cunningham

    2:1 cascade purchases with rings instead of blocks: less weight on the boom.

  • Vang cascade

    A textile cascade between mast base and boom: powerful, light and silent.

  • Lazy jacks

    Rings replace the small blocks along the system: the sail drops without snagging.

  • Backstay cascade

    Backstay deflectors and cascades with high-strength rings.

  • Soft block attachment
